Roy family stories
Memories, moments, and milestones—told by us
Read family stories from across generations, and help preserve our history by adding your own memories, photos, and documents.
How to share a story
A few simple guidelines to help keep our stories easy to find, read, and preserve.
What kinds of stories belong here?
Anything that helps tell our family’s story—childhood memories, family traditions, travel, work, service, celebrations, and everyday moments.
How long should a story be?
Any length is welcome. A few paragraphs is perfect, but longer stories are great too—especially if you can add dates, places, and names.
Can I include photos or documents?
Yes. If you have photos, letters, recipes, or other keepsakes, please include them when you submit—scans and phone photos are both fine.
What details are most helpful for genealogy?
Full names (including maiden names), approximate dates, locations, and relationships (e.g., “Aunt of…”, “son of…”) help connect stories to the family tree.
Can I request edits or corrections later?
Absolutely. If you notice an error or want to update a story, use the Contact page and include the story title and what you’d like changed.
Is this site private?
This site is intended for Roy family members and relatives. Please avoid sharing sensitive information and consider using approximate dates for living relatives.
